Wednesday
I thought i was going to have to presentate but i got lucky and only Jimmy and Austin had to. Im trying to put everything together but it just doesnt sound right, i mean i got 30+ hrs and ive worked hard its just when i think of it all its so overwhelming all the things i want to talk about and i end up going blank.
Monday
I need to get My presentation down pat so I have been praticing with anyone who would listen, so i ended up practicing in the mirror. I want to wing it because im good at saying things off the top of my head but i also want a base plan, so i dont mess up.
Monday
I need to get my portfolio all together and ready to be graded soon, also i need to start talking to everyone who i need to grade my stuff.
Wednesday
Class was Normal stretching, and exercising, I feel like i havent fought in ages and I actually miss getting kicked in the face. In an odd way it was rather fun.
Friday
Almost forgot about this thing, well TOday I just decided to run around and pick myself up a suit for the presentation for this and other things of that nature its about time for a new suit for me.
Tuesday
I worked out then came home and got my sister to take pictures of me demonstrating my beginner low block kata. It was very funny due to the fact my sister got smacked in the face during the process by a bee.
Sat morning
OK for the first time ever i had to basically go through a obstacle course and it was horrendous I had to do what they call a super trooper, it where after they work your legs for 20 minutes strait you bend on one knee so that your elbow can touch the ground then you switch over to the other knee. I HATE THEM!
Friday
Wow My classes are getting way more intense We do suicides at the end of all the classes now and It nearly kills me I hate them so much but im sure if i stick to it ill make it fine.

TOday was pretty cool i helped set up my friends internet connection and ended up getting paid quite a bit of money since i was nice and said she didnt have to pay me anything. Now i can afford more of my classes.
Monday
I am I had to mow grass and help my grandmother clean her house today to help pay for my classes and also i tried to find little odd computer jobs to help pay for the classes.
Friday
I ran around doing my usual work out around town and looked up more information for my research paper i almost have it up to the eight pages revised that i wanted
Wednesday
I updated my website and found a nice dojo picture to add to it and I think i' am going to build myself a sand garden someday :D. I really do enjoy doing everything i have done so far in karate.
Monday
Today i stayed home and worked on my research paper further... Its getting harder and harder to find things to put in this thing. I mean i dont mind Writing i love writing but this has to stay out for everyone and i keep putting in you's when they arent suppose to be there.

i had reviewed with Mrs. johnson about my paper and found out I had done it completely wrong so I am going to have to work on it instead of showing up to class today.

Class started off with just jumping today and then stretching. After that we worked on Kata's I learned mid-block , and high-block. They are the same variation as low-block just a different stance when you pause to block and punch.

Today in class we did the normal warm up which is around 15 to 25 minutes and then we practiced our Kata's. I started with beginer low block and will be working on it for the remainder of the classes this month.

Today class was the same as Wednesday, all we did was some stretches and sparring. I fought two matches.

Working at class starts you off with one hundred jumping jacks then stretches, i don't much like jumping before i stretch but i bare with it. Then come leg lifts where you kick strait forward a couple of times so that you can stretch out you legs. then we either go through with some more training and exercises, practicing Kata's, or sparing/grappling.

I had not entirely finished my paper nor did i have turned it in on time so i had to submit it to my acedemic coach instead, so I made an appointment to met with her and discuss my paper topic and research.

I start out with the same butterfly stretches I normally do in class and also sit and stretch my legs for flexibility, then i warm up with jumping up and down for two and a half minutes then i start my jog into downtown from Underdown ave. into town square and around it the head towards davenport woods and back onto my street. All in all its around a two mile jog. When I make it home ill rest for three minutes then ill practice my kata for around ten minutes. I do this when ever i cannot find a ride back from class, to class, or i just cant make it to class.

I have met with my mentor and discussed the way my product and everything is going to be made and graded. I will work out on my own and in class on Monday, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

So far I plan to interview my mentor by the end of the week. I have Checked out books for my research paper and today have checked a few websites and managed to get two reliable ones for my paper as well. I have started my research paper and wil have the rough draft done by friday.

Today I finished my rough draft of my letter of intent and plan to get my project proposal approved by the end of the day.
Project topic
My name is George Anthony Calderon and my project is going to be around the study of martial arts, My mentor will be one of the teachers at 21st century karate studios. I have always wanted to take karate lessons since I was a kid but never really got around to doing it. Karate as a whole fascinates me and im really eager to learn whatever I can.
